To prepare herself fully, she “locumed” at the Anglican Diocese Clinic in Conakry for a few months before being appointed the Director of the Health Center in Dominghia. She opened the clinic in Dominghia in May 2011 and was soon joined by Dr. Yoou Nianga (Jonas) Goumou, MD.
Adama is the proud mother of a boy named Almany Seny Kaba.

Miss Nicole Macnab currently works for an investment company in Moncton, New Brunswick. Throughout her career, she has been successful at improving the performance of businesses, and helped companies grow throughout times of expansion by creating a focus on improving human resource recruitment and productivity.

President of LGL, Fatoumata Dabo, was a critical influence. She contributed to Nicole’s changed life calling and aspirations. The three months spent in Guinea proved to be one of the most powerful experiences in Nicole’s life, and she continues to jump at the opportunity to share her brother Ryan’s wish (see Noreen and Ryan’s Home).

He is a lecturer in English at the University of New Brunswick and in English as a Second Language at St. Thomas University in Fredericton. He has spent many years travelling the world and has taught in Morocco, Japan, England, and Bhutan. He is also a fledgling author and his travel experiences may be found in "Back in Six Years: A Journey around the Planet without leaving the Surface."  His interest in Africa stems from the half-year he spent there in 1993/1994. Journeying overland through thirteen countries from the Mediterranean to the Cape of Good Hope, he found the optimism and generosity of the people remarkable, especially in light of the fact that their daily lives were often battles for survival. Guinea did not figure on his itinerary but he hopes to visit some day.
